McCormick Place boasts 173 meeting rooms and 4 ballrooms, allowing for more concurrent sessions than any other facility in the Midwest. The Arie Crown Theater , with 4,249 seats, a unique feature for a convention center, is often used for keynote and/or general session activity. Two large halls, 300,000+ square feet each, can accommodate general sessions of 15,000 and 18,000 respectively. Each of these halls can also accommodate well over 10,000 people for food functions. Eleven exhibit halls are available to accommodate exhibitions of all sizes. Each hall is nearby to meeting rooms, creating ideal packages for small or large conventions.
